DusitD2 Yarkay opens hotel in Thimphu
DusitD2 Yarkay opened the international brand hotel on 19 December 2018 in Thimphu, Bhutan. Yarkay group of companies of Bhutan and international group Dusit International set up the hotel. The hotel is with 83 guest rooms and suites.
The main objective of the hotel is to get fruit from the tree which symbolizes four Buddhist philosophy of “Thuenpa Phuenzi”.The hotel has four floors representing four animals. The Buddhist philosophy says the main objective is to get fruit from the tree with the cooperation of four animals.

The hotel got four categories of room
- D’ Light Room- Carefree room and family room. Space size with 32 square meters. You can see the landscape of Thimphu. It is standard room amenities.
- D’ Luxe Room- it is located in every corner of the floors. you can enjoy the landscape. Rooms are good for travelers enjoying the space. It got a space of 32 square meters.
- D’ Premier Room- it is beautiful for honeymoon travelers and couples. Got awesome landscape with forest views.it got a space of 39 square meters.
