    Day 1 Arrive Paro- Paro Sightseeing

    On arrival by Druk Air Flight or Bhutan Airlines to Paro International Airport. Our representatives from Bhutan Himalayan Holidays will receive in Paro Airport. From Airport drive to Hotel to check in hotel with coffee or tea.

    Kyichu Lhakhang 

    5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour starts with Paro sightseeing, which includes visit to oldest temple Kyichu Lhakhang. The temple built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo to suppress the demon. Other one temple built by King Songtsen Gampo was in Bumthang Jampa Lhakhang.

    Visit National Museum of Bhutan and Paro Dzong

    Drive to Paro Museum , The National Museum of Bhutan. After visting the Museum drive or walk down to Paro Dzong. The other name of the fortress is  Rinpung Dzong which means ‘the fortress of the heap of jewels’. Stroll in Paro Town to check out handicrafts shops. First day of 5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan tour ends.     Day 2Paro - Thimphu Sightseeing

    Second Day of 5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan tour kick off with drive to Thimphu. Drive to Thimphu(65KM) after breakfast.

    Check in Hotel in Thimphu. First sightseeing will be visit to Thimphu memorial Chorten. It is located on Doeboom road in the southern-central part of the city. The chorten was built by his wife  in memory of 3rd King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. The chorten is a prominent landmark in the city with its golden spires and bells. Only the King’s photo in a ceremonial dress adorns a hall in the ground floor.

    Visit Sunday Market.There is a large indoor weekend market in Thimphu. The locals buy grains, cheese, and vegetables. Visit Archery field nearby to see how Bhutanese play Archery.

    Visit Changkhangkha Lhakhang. Every Bhutanese mother takes thrir children to the temple to get blessings from Lama.

    Visit 169 ft Buddha Dordenma is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue under construction in the mountains of Bhutan. The statue will house over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues.The Buddha Dordenma is sited amidst the ruins of Kuensel Phodrang. Upon completion by the end of 2008, it will be one of the largest Buddha rupas in the world, at a height of 169 feet (51.5 meters).

    Visit TashichoeDzong and many more depending upon time. Tashichhoedzong is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimpu. It has traditionally been the seat of the Druk Desi (or “Dharma Raja”), the head of Bhutan’s civil government. The Second day of 5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan tour ends.

    Day 3Thimphu - Punakha

    The third day of 5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan tour start with drive or bike to Tango Monastery. The Tango Monastery located 14 km to the north of Thimphu.It was founded by Lama Gyalwa Lhanampa in the 13th century. It was built in its present form by Tenzin Rabgye in 1688. In 1616, the Tibetan, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, meditated in its cave. The self-emanated form of the wrathful Hayagriva is deified in the monastery. It belongs to the Drukpa Kagyu School of Buddhism in Bhutan. The word Tango literally means ‘horse head’.

    After Lunch visit Dupthop Lhakhang one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. Visit National Library of Bhutan and Painting School.

    Visit Mini Zoo to see national animal of Bhutan Takin. Drive to Sangaygang to view Thimphu Valley.

    Visit Folk Heritage Museum. A three storied traditional building houses the Folk Heritage Museum. This museum showcase how Bhutanese live in rural Bhutanese life. 

    Drive to Punakha from Thimphu

    Evening drive to Punakha, which takes nearly 3 hours. On the way you will be passing Dochula pass with an elevation of 3050m. You can see on top of hill covering 108 stupas. Visit Druk Wangyel temple, which now stands on the crest of Dochu-la. Overlooking the unique spiral of 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.

    The construction of The Druk Wangyal temple to honour His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Inside the monastery you can see paintings covering up the past and future of our fourth king of Bhutan. 5 Nights 6 days Bhutan Tour ends off.

    Over night in Punakha- Damchen resort -3 star.

    Day 4Punakha - Wangdi - Paro

    5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour kicks off with visit to Punakha Fortress.  The construction of the fortress foretold by Guru Rimpoche. The Guru Rimpoche predicted, “ a person named Namgyel will arrive at a hill that looks like an elephant”.

    Most importantly the Punakha fortress is winter residence of Chief Abbott of Bhutan. Besides ,The Third Jigme Dorji Wangchuk convened the new national Assembly here in 1952.

    Visit fertility temple built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley lies on the hillock of Metsina Village. Lama subdued the demons with his “Magical Thunder bolt” and still you can see the buried site.

    Wangdue Phodrang fortress is 21 km from Punakha.  5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour ends off for the day.

    Overnight in Punakha Zhingkham .Dinner in Hotel.

    Day 5Hike to Tiger's Nest

    5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour starts with hike to spectacular Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery. A short drive take you to Satsam Chorten. From the point 2 1/2 hour hike till the viewpoint point of the monastery. The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. The monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 meters.

    We stop for a rest and light refreshments at the Taktsang cafeteria. 

    After Lunch, visit Ta Dzong (built in 1656 and renovated in 1968), an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum.

    Below the museum is the Paro Rimpung Dzong (literally meaning “Heap of Jewels”, built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. A short walk takes you to the base of the fortress and across a traditional wooden bridge. In the early 1950s Drukgyal Dzong was almost completely destroyed by fire.5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour ends for the day.
